These are essentially streamlined coffee and console tables - basically display cabinets with legs attached. Indeed, this type of furniture is so versatile that the common table descriptors may be too narrow. Give me your specific requirements - your preferred dimensions and height - and I will create the table you want. There are a couple of possibilities for receiving the final product you desire. The first option is to commission an entirely individualized creation. You and I can correspond in order to discuss how best to achieve the result you need. Take a glance to gain a sense of what types of products from which you might choose. A Period Coffee Table might be more appealing to you. Next - a very simple structure from the bottom. The pane is a transparent composite, and the case is functional particle board that is pre-primed in a convenient gray. (The piece can immediately be painted by the customer who wishes to do so, or it can be left alone.) The display window's lid surround and the table's legs are of solid wood construction. The case lid is joined to the table by a piano hinge, though the legs are sent to you separately. Third option - a hybrid approach. Tempered glass can be installed rather than the transparent composite product. A section of padding may also be selected. Take a glance at the sample that follows to get an idea of specifics and cost. Also, this can be shipped to you pre-painted. All you will have to do is inform me of your preference in this regard. (Be advised that because the precise shading of various colors does not always accurately translate on computer screens, you may wish to paint the item yourself if your needs are very specific.) For customers desiring a glossy finish, the display cabinet component will be constructed of medium density fiberboard and will have its edges prepared to receive paint. Achieving a glossy finish requires a great deal of work, and therefore it comes at a higher price. It is also possible for me to construct the display case from plywood derived from a range of hardwoods. The optimal results are achieved from oak, but you can request any type of wood. The outer surfaces receive veneers consistent with the display case construction.
